About Thai Vuu, DDS
Dr. Vuu was born in Saigon, Vietnam and came to America when he was 2 years old. His family initially settled in Pennsylvania, but moved to Sugar Land, TX in 1990. Dr. Vuu graduated from Dulles High School and attended Eastern Mennonite University. He subsequently moved back to Houston and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch. Dr. Vuu graduated at the top of his Dental School class and was elected into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Following Dental School he was accepted into the dual degree Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Residency Program at the University of Texas Dental Branch where he received extensive training in facial trauma, jaw reconstruction, dental implant procedures, sedation, bone grafting, wisdom teeth removal, dental extractions, and corrective jaw surgery. As part of his training Dr. Vuu received his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Texas at Houston Medical School and also completed a one year General Surgery Internship at the same institution. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

Dr. Vuu and his wife, Tu Pham, have two children, Nathan and Natalie, who both attend First Baptist Academy. In his spare time Dr. Vuu likes to hang out with his family, run, bike, swim, watch sports, and work on his golf game. He and his wife also love traveling, going to new restaurants, and trying different foods.
