Dr. Tamar Lipof began her practice in 2010. She attended the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She also completed her surgical residency at the UCONN School of Medicine. She continued her training at North Shore/Long Island Jewish Health System for completion of a Colorectal Surgery Fellowship in 2010.
She has been board certified by the American College of Surgeons since 2009 and board certified by the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons since 2011. She has particular interest in colon and rectal surgery (laparoscopic, cancer, and sphincter preserving), laparoscopic colectomy, colostomy, constipation and incontinence, Crohn’s disease, diverticulitis, gastrointestinal bleeding, hemorrhoids/anal conditions, and general surgery.
