About Sydney Nichols, MD
Dr. Sydney Nichols has been in practice for more than 10 years. He grew up on the Caribbean island of St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Prior to his academic journey in medicine, he taught adolescent girls at the nation’s number-one high school. He has a bachelor degree in biology from Caribbean University and a medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine.
Dr. Nichols interned with the Northwest Regional Health Authority in Trinidad and Tobago, and trained from 2008 to 2011 at Maimonides Infants and Children's Hospital Pediatric residency program. Since then, he has worked in outpatient primary care, pediatric hospital care, newborn care and deliveries for troubled pregnancy.
His experience has taught him to see challenges as opportunities for solutions; a mindset that has allowed Dr. Nichols to find ways to bridge gaps between physicians and patients and offer optimal care to children.
