Over the last 15 years he has lectured at multiple regional, national and international pain conferences. Dr. Nalamachu serves on the editorial boards for various pain journals and has authored more than 70 articles in peer reviewed clinical journals and 80 abstract/poster presentations at various conferences. His areas of interest include Cancer pain, Diabetic Neuropathy, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, Migraines, Low back pain and Osteoarthritis. His current research is focused on safe opioid analgesics with abuse deterrent properties and finding non-opioid alternatives for the treatment of chronic pain.
He recently founded the Mid America Polyclinic to help change the lives of patients suffering from musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. The focus of this truly multidisciplinary clinic is to incorporate pharmacological, interventional and non-pharmacological approaches with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of life and optimize function of our patients.
