Frequently Asked Questions

Every doctor is vetted and credentialed before joining UBERDOC. Doctors must be board certified and have an active medical license in the state they are providing services. Exceptions are made for Psychologists, Dentists and Optometrists as these specialties do not require board certifications.

Doctors choose their appointment fee based on specialty and geography. The average cost is $250. You pay $50 when your appointment is confirmed, and the remaining after the completion of the visit.

Included in your UBERDOC appointment is an initial consultation. Any subsequent care or treatment can be through insurance.

If you choose a doctor who is a Medicare provider, you may need to only pay $50 for you UBERDOC appointment. Please discuss with your doctor directly to see if you are eligible.

UBERDOC works outside insurance. Your UBERDOC appointment can be paid for with your HSA, FSA or major credit card. If the doctor is in your insurance network, any subsequent consults, lab tests, procedures and follow-up appointments can be paid for by insurance.

About Sri Nalamachu, MD
Sri Nalamachu, MD, is the founder and Medical Director of Mid America PolyClinic in Overland Park, KS. He received his training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. After a brief tenure at Albert Einstein Medical College teaching hospital in New York City he moved to Kansas City area and has called it home almost for the last 20 years. Besides being a part of active clinical practice, he spent a great deal of time as a researcher in pain management and rehabilitation medicine. He has been a part of close to 100 multi-center clinical trials over the last 10-15 years. Apart from being a Principal Investigator for trials at his clinic, he collaborated with multiple pharmaceutical companies as a lead investigator to help design clinical trials for FDA approval.

Over the last 15 years he has lectured at multiple regional, national and international pain conferences. Dr. Nalamachu serves on the editorial boards for various pain journals and has authored more than 70 articles in peer reviewed clinical journals and 80 abstract/poster presentations at various conferences. His areas of interest include Cancer pain, Diabetic Neuropathy, Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, Migraines, Low back pain and Osteoarthritis. His current research is focused on safe opioid analgesics with abuse deterrent properties and finding non-opioid alternatives for the treatment of chronic pain.

He recently founded the Mid America Polyclinic to help change the lives of patients suffering from musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. The focus of this truly multidisciplinary clinic is to incorporate pharmacological, interventional and non-pharmacological approaches with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of life and optimize function of our patients.
