Dr. Upadhyay is a board-certified Emergency Physician and has been practicing in the Tampa Bay area for over 20 years. He is currently the Medical Director and CEO of Professional Urgent Care Services established in 2013. Dr. Upadhyay spent the first 15 years of his career working clinically at a Level II Trauma Center in St Petersburg, FL. He was board member for Pinellas County EMS systems, in addition he became the Chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee for the Hospital. He was an active member to the Pinellas County Medical Association as a Secretary on the board and is an active member of the American Academy of Emergency Physicians.
Dr. Upadhyay graduated from the University of Michigan with B.A. in Economics and Biology and completed his medical school and residency at Wayne State University/ Detroit Medical Center. He currently has privileges at multiple different hospitals in the Tampa Bay area continues to practice clinical Emergency Medicine.
