Frequently Asked Questions

Every doctor is vetted and credentialed before joining UBERDOC. Doctors must be board certified and have an active medical license in the state they are providing services. Exceptions are made for Psychologists, Dentists and Optometrists as these specialties do not require board certifications.

Doctors choose their appointment fee based on specialty and geography. The average cost is $250. You pay $50 when your appointment is confirmed, and the remaining after the completion of the visit.

Included in your UBERDOC appointment is an initial consultation. Any subsequent care or treatment can be through insurance.

If you choose a doctor who is a Medicare provider, you may need to only pay $50 for you UBERDOC appointment. Please discuss with your doctor directly to see if you are eligible.

UBERDOC works outside insurance. Your UBERDOC appointment can be paid for with your HSA, FSA or major credit card. If the doctor is in your insurance network, any subsequent consults, lab tests, procedures and follow-up appointments can be paid for by insurance.

She believes in empowering the human soul and applying evidence-based medicine to make effective and long-lasting changes in patients’ lives. Dr. Baez is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and Addiction and has a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry. She is bilingual as well, speaking English and Spanish fluently.

Dr. Baez received her medical doctorate degree (M.D.) from the Dominican Republic in 1990. She completed her Psychiatric Residency Training at Wake Forest University, Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina and then a fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at the University of Miami.

She is a Medical Review Officer (MRO) and has qualifications as a Substance Abuse Professional for the Department of Transportation (DOT). Dr. Baez has been in private practice in the State of Florida since 1999. She served as Medical Director for the Outpatient Behavioral Health Department of the Memorial Healthcare System and was a Consultant Psychiatrist for the Department of Health (DOH), the Intervention Project for Nurses (IPN) and the Physician Resource Network (PRN).

She is passionate about empowering her patients to a path of recovery, not only with psycho-pharmacological interventions but also through psycho-therapeutic and holistic approaches.
