About Rubaiya Mallay, DO
Dr. Mallay is board certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. She earned her medical degree from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine and postdoctoral training from Largo Medical Center and Nova Southeastern University. She has been involved in international clinical research and medical mission work in four countries. Dr. Mallay has also been published in several medical journals for her work and is an avid lecturer/presenter at hospitals and universities. She is a founding member of the American Medical Womens Association at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and the recipient of the Howard Levine Scholarship. When Dr. Mallay isn’t seeing patients she enjoys cooking, traveling and salsa dancing.
