I started my career as a hospitalist including patient-centered care within the geriatric community. Since 2011, I have focused my knowledge in Skilled Nursing and Memory Care. This led to the creation of innovative Palliative and Hospice teams. I have been the Medical Director at a Medicare Aadvantage plan company and Hospice Facilities. It is because of the diverse experiences I can best understand how to navigate through various insurance plans keeping the focus on individual care. Preserving the patient-physician relationship results in the best possible communication and ensures the optimal health for each person. When I am not working, I promote self-care through yoga, hiking, bicycling and am passionate about the visual arts. I balance my time outside of work with a strong commitment to my family and our dog Panther.
