About Robert Mannel, MD
Dr. Mannel was born and raised in Texas. He completed his medical preliminary year, neurology residency, & vascular neurology fellowship at the University of Florida. He served as the Chief Resident of neurology and was awarded with the Edward Jelks Outstanding Clinician Award. He is double board-certified. He has participated in several committees (stroke, pharmacy & therapeutics, critical care, patient safety, & pain management), research projects (dementia, stroke, multiple sclerosis), & publications (journals and national conference posters). While Dr. Mannel enjoys seeing any and all neurological patients, he has a special interest in dementia, stroke, headache/migraines, seizures, and neuro-imaging. He believes the physician-patient bond is of the utmost importance and this relationship leads to trust, joint discussion involving up-to-date treatment options, and ultimately better patient outcomes.
