About Robert Garcia, MD
Dr. Garcia is a Diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association. Dr. Garcia specializes in both Child/Adolescent and Adult population. He received his training in Adult Psychiatry from Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan and continued his sub-specialty in the area of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
He is an affiliate staff member of the Providence Hospital, a part of the Ascension Health System, and a member of the following organizations - American Psychiatric Association, American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, American Society of Psychoanalytic Physicians, Michigan Psychiatric Society and the Michigan Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Garcia performs comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and medication management. He maintains a network of mental health professionals in the practice for referral for child, adolescent and adult psychotherapy and full psychological testing including ADHD, Cognitive IQ and Learning Disorders.
