About RASHMI MURTHY, MD
Dr. Rashmi Murthy is a Miami native and grew up in the neighborhood in which she works. She completed her Family Medicine residency training at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, New York in 2007 and decided to return to the Florida sun shortly thereafter to work with her father, Dr. Hall Murthy.
She has interests in preventive medicine, women's health/perimenopause, skin care, dermatology, and holistic medicine but, the best part of her day is sitting down with patients and getting to know them. Dr Murthy enjoys traveling internationally to promote health care screening and care. Her latest trips have been with a non profit group, PINCC, in Africa and India helping to establish cervical cancer screening teams.
