Frequently Asked Questions

Every doctor is vetted and credentialed before joining UBERDOC. Doctors must be board certified and have an active medical license in the state they are providing services. Exceptions are made for Psychologists, Dentists and Optometrists as these specialties do not require board certifications.

Doctors choose their appointment fee based on specialty and geography. The average cost is $250. You pay $50 when your appointment is confirmed, and the remaining after the completion of the visit.

Included in your UBERDOC appointment is an initial consultation. Any subsequent care or treatment can be through insurance.

If you choose a doctor who is a Medicare provider, you may need to only pay $50 for you UBERDOC appointment. Please discuss with your doctor directly to see if you are eligible.

UBERDOC works outside insurance. Your UBERDOC appointment can be paid for with your HSA, FSA or major credit card. If the doctor is in your insurance network, any subsequent consults, lab tests, procedures and follow-up appointments can be paid for by insurance.

About Rasha Lawrence, MD
Dr Rasha Lawrence graduated from medical school in 1995. She worked in at the behavioral medicine research center at the University of Miami with a focus on HIV and chronic fatigue syndrome; participating in research publications relating to both areas. She completed her psychiatric residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/UM in Miami, Florida in 2008. Dr. Lawrence then completed a completed a 2-year course of psychodynamic psychotherapy with Florida Psychoanalytic Center in Miami during her residency as an extracurricular activity. She is board certified in Addiction Medicine since 2010 and treated thousands of patients with chemical dependency and dual diagnosis. Dr. Lawrence implements protocols that lead to safer and more comfortable detox. In 2013, Dr. Lawrence was a contributing field reviewer of the revised version of The ASAM Criteria. She is currently in private practice in Boca Raton and Delray Beach Florida . Her main areas of expertise are depression, anxiety and addiction medicine. Dr. Lawrence utilizes psychodynamic psychotherapy, CBT and medication management as her primary methods of treatment for these conditions. Her desire to save lives, help her patients, and see the best results in their treatment has led her to establish The Lawrence Wellness Center.
