Frequently Asked Questions

Every doctor is vetted and credentialed before joining UBERDOC. Doctors must be board certified and have an active medical license in the state they are providing services. Exceptions are made for Psychologists, Dentists and Optometrists as these specialties do not require board certifications.

Doctors choose their appointment fee based on specialty and geography. The average cost is $250. You pay $50 when your appointment is confirmed, and the remaining after the completion of the visit.

Included in your UBERDOC appointment is an initial consultation. Any subsequent care or treatment can be through insurance.

If you choose a doctor who is a Medicare provider, you may need to only pay $50 for you UBERDOC appointment. Please discuss with your doctor directly to see if you are eligible.

UBERDOC works outside insurance. Your UBERDOC appointment can be paid for with your HSA, FSA or major credit card. If the doctor is in your insurance network, any subsequent consults, lab tests, procedures and follow-up appointments can be paid for by insurance.

Dr. Lilker is passionate about diagnosing and treating sport related injuries for marathon runners, dancers, spinners, pilates, yoga, kickboxing, and skiers. Dr. Lilker specializes in Pediatric, Adult, and Geriatric foot care. Using both conservative or surgical techniques, Dr. Lilker treats all common foot and ankle conditions such as bunions, hammertoes, sesamoiditis, stress fractures, neuromas, plantar fasciitis, metatarsalgia/capsulitis, tendinitis, and arthritis. Dr. Lilker specializes in reconstructive and cosmetic treatment of acquired or congenital conditions of the foot in both adult and pediatric populations.

Dr. Lilker specializes in minimally incision surgery for bunion, hammertoes, neuromas, heel surgery for plantar fasciitis, and tendon or ligament injuries. Dr. Lilker uses the latest in cutting edge technology via Cyro Therapy to successfully treat painful neuromas getting patients back on their feet in no time. Dr. Lilker is well trained in the latest Bunion correction which addresses and corrects all three planes of the deformity. Dr. Lilker completed an observership at Memorial Sloan Kettering. He has undergone extensive training with Dr. Lacouture from the Dept. of Dermatology, studying the secondary side effects of skin and nail changes from cancer therapy. With his observership, Dr. Lilker and his team have successfully published an article in the Journal of American Podiatric Medical Association. His team is also in the process of submitting a pilot study on therapeutic footwear for patients with chemotherapy-induced hand-foot syndrome. He is a pioneer podiatrist in skin and nail related issues of the foot in cancer patients. Dr. Lilker recently lectured at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine regarding the secondary effects of chemotherapy and other cancer drugs as it relates to the foot and ankle.

Dr. Lilker is a Preferred Medical Provider with the New York State Troopers. As a Police Surgeon, his priority is providing top care to Police State Troopers as well as local Police, Fire, and EMS departments. In his spare time, Dr. Lilker volunteers at many non-profit organizations. Dr. Lilker is a certified NYS Interior Firefighter and NYS EMT. Dr. Lilker is part of an onsite medical stand-by team during sporting events. Dr. Lilker also provides emergency care to his community and was instrumental during Hurricane Sandy relief efforts in keeping his community safe. Dr. Lilker received his doctorate from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He graduated with Honors in Pi Mu Delta National Podiatry Service Society and received the APMA Educational Foundation Scholarship for academic excellence.
