About Prashant Vaishnava, MD
I am a practicing cardiologist at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. I have over a decade of clinical experience. I completed training in internal medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, followed by fellowship in cardiology at Mount Sinai. I am Senior editor of the acclaimed cardiology textbook Fuster and Hurst’s The Heart. I have published widely in such journals as NEJM, JAMA, JACC, and Circulation. I consider being a doctor the highest privilege, and take the patients whom have entrusted me with their care as if they were family.
