Dr. Parisa Arman Khorsandi has been a Pediatrician for the past two decades. She completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics at the prestigious program at LIJ-Northshore Children's Hospital, where she had the opportunity to train under some of the most well-known leaders in different Pediatrics specialties. Also, she has done extensive research at New York Hospital at Cornell and NYU in Pediatrics AIDS and Infectious Disease. Her research led her to be on the panel of physicians who developed the Flumist vaccine for the prevention of flu. Also, to express her passion for the profession and love for teaching, Dr. Khorsandi has served as a clinical instructor for medical students and nurse practitioner students.
Prior to running her successful private practice, Dr. Khorsandi served as Chief of Pediatrics and managed the Pediatrics department and Pediatrics urgent care of a large IPA in Los Angles. She gained valuable expertise in managing tough Pediatrics emergencies, as well as the unique experience of working with abused and neglected children and battered women.
“Dr. Parisa,” as her patients refer to her, enjoys the close relationships she has with all of her clients and is honored to be such an integral part of their lives and an extension to their families. She knows each patient personally and works hard to create an atmosphere of calm and caring for each new parent. She lives in Los Angles with her husband, her son, and her identical twin daughters. She enjoys attending her kids’ sports and music events. Dr. Khorsandi is fluent in Farsi and Spanish.
