After finishing my pediatric nephrology fellowship, I became an Assistant Professor in Pediatric Nephrology and the Director of the Pediatric Hypertension Clinic at UF. I treated patients with various kidney diseases, worked with children on dialysis, and managed children with kidney transplantation.
In 2020, I discovered the Direct Primary Care (DPC) movement. I love the concept of DPC because it allows patients to directly access their physicians, provides more time with the physician, and allows for a stronger patient-physician relationship, which enables one to make better healthcare choices! I have opened BlueJay Pediatrics in Leesburg, Virginia, and welcome to see new pediatric patients now! www.bluejaypeds.com
