Frequently Asked Questions

Every doctor is vetted and credentialed before joining UBERDOC. Doctors must be board certified and have an active medical license in the state they are providing services. Exceptions are made for Psychologists, Dentists and Optometrists as these specialties do not require board certifications.

Doctors choose their appointment fee based on specialty and geography. The average cost is $250. You pay $50 when your appointment is confirmed, and the remaining after the completion of the visit.

Included in your UBERDOC appointment is an initial consultation. Any subsequent care or treatment can be through insurance.

If you choose a doctor who is a Medicare provider, you may need to only pay $50 for you UBERDOC appointment. Please discuss with your doctor directly to see if you are eligible.

UBERDOC works outside insurance. Your UBERDOC appointment can be paid for with your HSA, FSA or major credit card. If the doctor is in your insurance network, any subsequent consults, lab tests, procedures and follow-up appointments can be paid for by insurance.

About Nina Maouelainin, DO
Dr. Nina Maouelaninin began her medical career at Crozer-Chester Medical Center after graduating from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2005. In 2008, she began a three-year fellowship in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine at Drexel University – Hahnemann University Hospital. This was one of the first accredited interventional pulmonology fellowships established by the Cancer Treatment Centers of America, created at a time when interventional pulmonology was in its infancy even at the world’s most advanced tertiary care centers. After completing the fellowship in 2011, Dr. Maouelanin established the first successfully run interventional pulmonology programs in Pennsylvania, drawing upon her extensive training in the field and program leadership experience.

Today, she is the CEO and president of Lung Health Services. In this role, she oversees the day-to-day and big picture operational needs of providing state-of-the-art care to lung cancer patients in the Greater Philadelphia region. Lung Health Solutions focuses on minimally invasive techniques and procedures that make it possible to diagnose lung cancer and other chronic lung conditions in patients early, setting them up for prompt, aggressive treatment that yields positive results. In addition to providing this level of specialized care, Lung Health solutions aims to increase lung cancer awareness among patients, families, and the community and make comprehensive treatment plans readily available for all individuals facing lung cancer and other chronic lung conditions.
