Dr. Wassef attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and graduated with
highest honors in the top 7% of his class. He is a member of Psi Sigma Alpha, the National Osteopathic Scholastic Honor
Society.
He completed his first residency training in internal medicine at West Palm Hospital and is board certified in internal
medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Wassef completed his second residency training in dermatology at the same institution and is a board certified
dermatologist and dermatological surgeon by the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology.
Dr. Wassef received extensive residency training in general and surgical dermatology, including Mohs Micrographic Surgery, skin cancer detection and treatment, including melanoma, dermatopathology, phototherapy for psoriasis and other skin diseases, and laser therapy.
