About Michael Shanker, MD
Dr Shanker has practiced psychiatry for over 20 years. He specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry but treats adults as well. He has experience working with challenging patients that have required hospitalization. He performed his residency in psychiatry at Washington University in St. Louis and completed his child and adolescent fellowship at Northwestern University. He attended medical school at the University of Missouri in Columbia. He works with all psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and autism.
