About Mercedes Dervitz, MD
Dr. Lindholm is a fellowship-trained knee and sports medicine surgeon who operates out of Hackensack University Medical Center and Chilton Hospital in Pompton Plains. With offices in Wayne and Hackensack, Dr. Lindholm's practice is centered around complex arthroscopic knee surgery and hip and knee reconstruction and replacement. Dr. Lindholm completed his fellowship at the prestigious Insall Scott Kelly Institute at Lennox Hill in New York City. A native of Flint, Michigan, he completed undergraduate and medical training at the University of Michigan before completing his orthopedic residency at University of California - Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.
Having completed one of the only fellowships mainly devoted to "all things" knee surgery, Dr. Lindholm has built his practice around referrals for complex knee injuries and pathologies from other orthopedic surgeons. His reputation has earned him Top Doctor awards in Castle Connolly, Jersey Choice, 201 Magazine, Vital's Patients' Choice, and others. When he is not treating patients, he is an avid golfer and cyclist.
