I view therapy as an experiential process that can aim to help you achieve a deeper sense of self-awareness, relational patterns, internal conflicts, and personal life goals. I aim to co-create a sense of safety and security, in order to openly explore histories and dynamics that may be contributing to current hardships. I utilize short-term and long-term therapy techniques, to facilitate the therapeutic process and to meet each individual’s needs. I firmly believe that with proper support and guidance, clients can integrate therapeutic techniques to become their own therapists in their day-to-day lives.
My work is strongly informed by the latest research and my evidence-based training experiences. I earned my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the New School for Social Research, and I have experience working in public and private clinical settings in New York City. I have specialized training in working with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, interpersonal difficulties, grief, and life transitions. I offer therapy in Spanish as well as English.
