About
After earning his medical degree at the University of Bombay in India in 1989, Dr. Krishnan Sundararajan came to the US to further his medical education. He first completed a graduate degree in biomedical engineering at Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, Ohio) in 1991, followed by his internship and residency in internal medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center (an affiliate of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine). Dr. Sundararajan then pursued a three-year cardiology fellowship at MetroHealth, which he completed in 1997. Dr. Sundararajan’s accolades include National Talent Scholarship, research awards from MetroHealth and the NIH, and Resident of the Year in internal medicine at Case Western. His clinical and research interests include comprehensive management of cardiovascular disease and peripheral vascular disease. Dr. Sundararajan is board certified in cardiology, nuclear cardiology, and internal medicine. In addition, he is a registered physician in vascular interpretation (RPVI) as well as a fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC). Dr. Sundararajan has also achieved advanced training in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology through the American College of Cardiology. In his spare time, Dr. Sundararajan enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
