Frequently Asked Questions

Every doctor is vetted and credentialed before joining UBERDOC. Doctors must be board certified and have an active medical license in the state they are providing services. Exceptions are made for Psychologists, Dentists and Optometrists as these specialties do not require board certifications.

Doctors choose their appointment fee based on specialty and geography. The average cost is $250. You pay $50 when your appointment is confirmed, and the remaining after the completion of the visit.

Included in your UBERDOC appointment is an initial consultation. Any subsequent care or treatment can be through insurance.

If you choose a doctor who is a Medicare provider, you may need to only pay $50 for you UBERDOC appointment. Please discuss with your doctor directly to see if you are eligible.

UBERDOC works outside insurance. Your UBERDOC appointment can be paid for with your HSA, FSA or major credit card. If the doctor is in your insurance network, any subsequent consults, lab tests, procedures and follow-up appointments can be paid for by insurance.

Dr. Kenneth McCulloch, M.D., is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon who attended Princeton University and then remained in New Jersey for his medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at St. Luke’s / Roosevelt Medical Center / Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. McCulloch further continued his training by completing his fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center in Adult Reconstructive Orthopaedic Surgery.

Dr. McCulloch is also an attending surgeon at Lenox Hill Hospital / Northwell Health and at New York Presbyterian. He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical School. Dr. McCulloch prides himself on offering the most advanced orthopaedic techniques and innovations to his patients. Dr. McCulloch was the first surgeon in New York City to perform and offer Direct Anterior Hip Replacements and among the first to offer custom fit knee replacements, and virtual robotic total knee replacements. He maintains an equally progressive technological focus in the fields of sports medicine, joint preservation and arthroscopy, as well, being an early adopter of biologics and graft supplementation of tendinous repairs.
