I am a patient-oriented physician, and every patient is treated like a family member and as whole rather than made of different compartments. My approach is listening first and gathering all information necessary including labs and imaging when needed before a final decision is made with the inputs from patient. My practice does not operate in pushing medications into patient and say goodbye. Every treatment plant may be changed with inputs from patients. I don’t operate based on one size fits all, rather I attempt to personalize all treatments as much as possible. If I cannot provide desired outcome in a specified time, I will ask for second opinion, subspecialties or other specialties as needed.
I have no association with any labs, imaging or drug entities. I do not change my diagnosis or treatments under the influence from any entity. However, I will try my best to treat patients under realistic circumstances to the best of my abilities while searching for better options.
I have an open-door policy and invite recommendations for improvements. While I receive criticisms as an opportunity to learn and improve and not as a personal attack, I require a mutual respect and understanding between my staff and patients to provide a safe, healthy environment and positive experience for all.
Finally, while I will not avoid communicating dire prognosis when needed, I am positive and keep optimism under all circumstances.
