About John Santa Ana, DO
Dr. John Santa Ana is a Board Certified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician (PM&R), and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He completed his Undergraduate degree in Nutrition and Food Science at Wayne State University, and his medical degree at The New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He joined the US Army and completed his specialty training in PM&R at The Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Washington, DC. He continued to serve as an Army physician as the Chief of PM&R at Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, WA providing Musculoskeletal Sports and Spine care to active duty service members and veterans. In 2011, he completed a deployment in Iraq in support of Operation New Dawn. At the end of his commitment in 2013, he was honorably discharged with a rank of Major. He completed an Interventional Sports and Spine Fellowship at Michigan Neurology Associates, PC.
The Michigan Center for Regenerative Medicine was established as a state of the art specializing in Interventional Orthopedics, Orthobiologics, and Regenerative Medicine. We treat patients with Orthopedic joint and spine issues with non-surgical treatments utilizing the most advanced treatments available. We give patients options outside of surgery, without opioids, and allow them to return to activities they love.
