About John Hester, DPM
Dr. Hester is a board certified foot surgeon (American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery) at New England Baptist Hospital and Mount Auburn Hospital. He attended Boston College undergrad and Boston University graduate school. After practicing several years as a sports physical therapist he obtained his DPM degree at Rosalind Franklin School of Medicine in Chicago. He completed his surgical residency in Houston.
Dr. Hester serves as Podiatry consultant to the Boston Celtics, as well as several local colleges and high schools. He is an experienced foot surgeon but tries to find non-surgical solutions whenever possible. He is experienced with Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy, Orthobiologic therapies, and orthopedic laser.
