He has colleagues from Portland, Maine to Boston, Massachusetts with whom he collaborates and he can assist patients and their families in their navigation through this complex health care system.
Dr. Thurlow helps to 'close the gap' between a diagnosis and treatment which is often unfortunately prolonged. His advocacy for patients is legendary. While this venue is an opportunity for patients to seek general advice and guidance, Dr. Thurlow also performs a myriad of surgical procedures at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport, should a patient require a procedure. This renowned institution has exceptional facilities and equipment, and wonderful administrative, medical, nursing and support staff comparable to the Boston hospitals for most of the common health problems encountered in clinical practice.
