About Jannet Ung, MD
Dr. Jannet Ung graduated from Brown University in 1998. She then completed a four-year medical school program at St George’s University School of Medicine in 2006. After earning her medical degree, Dr. Ung finished a one-year internship at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester, Massachusetts. She completed her ophthalmology residency in 2010 at New York Medical College in New York City and was the Chief Resident during her last year. Dr. Ung is a board certified ophthalmologist and has been in practice in NYC for 6 years prior to joining the Eye Center of the North Shore. Dr. Ung is a member of Iota Epsilon Alpha International Honor Medical Society, The American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and American Academy of Ophthalmology.
