After moving to the United States, Dr. Slezak completed his internship and residency in Anesthesia at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit before completing his fellowship in Pain Management at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School in 1997. Upon joining the staff at the MGH Pain Center, he spent many years consulting at Massachusetts General Hospital and also began seeing patients at ISM. Today, he sees patients at ISM in Barrington, Rye, Gilford and Laconia.
Dr. Slezak is board certified in Pain Management and Anesthesiology and he specializes in interventional management of spinal pain. Dr. Slezak is also a graduate of the UCLA medical acupuncture program and serves as the medical director and principal investigator for the Northeast Pain Research Center. Dr. Slezak has extensively published peer-reviewed articles in heart research, molecular biology and pain medicine.
