I completed residency in ear nose and throat and fellowship in neurotology. My primary clinical interest is neurotology, the surgical and medical management for disorders of hearing, balance, and facial movement. I treat disorders of the ear canal, ear drum, middle ear bones, mastoid, inner ear (cochlea and vestibular labyrinth), and nerves traveling to the brainstem.
As a neurotologist, I have a special interest and compassion for those with dizziness. Many patients visit multiple doctors and are unable to find a diagnosis and appropriate treatment. I have noticed a large void and believe that many patients can be helped.
As a virtual dizzy doctor, the majority of diagnosis can be made without an exam or ordering tests however it is critical that all my virtual patients have been evaluated by their family doctor (to rule out various medical conditions) and an ENT (to have an ear exam and hearing test).
I have a great appreciation for holistic medicine, wellness and generally treat dizziness without medications however sometimes they are needed.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter. I love mountain bike riding, dirt bike riding and road cycling. I try to spend as much time in nature as possible. I strongly believe in the benefits of yoga, meditation and eating well.
