Dr. James McNair is a graduate of the University of Arkansas Medical School where he completed residency as well. He completed his internship at San Francisco General Hospital. Dr. McNair is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a professional member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO). He has also served in the United States Army. Dr. McNair has been in practice for over 30 years, he offers comprehensive medical eye exams and evaluates and treats cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration as well as many other eye diseases. He provides intravitreal injections for macular degeneration, performs anterior and posterior laser surgery for glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy and offers cosmetic and functional eyelid surgery. He has a special interest in general health and alternative medicine with an Integrative Medical Degree. He has obtained specialized training in preventative medicine, homeopathic care for the U.S. Army, and acupuncture.
