Dr. Jorge Gonzalez completed training in Interventional Sports Medicine and Non-surgical Orthopedics, and is proficient in the diagnosis, management and treatment of all type of acute and chronic sports related injuries, as well as all other musculoskeletal pathology.

He is certified in Minimally invasive and Interventional Procedures such as Ultrasound guided Tenotomies and Fasciatomies (TENEX), Ultrasound guided percutaneous trigger finger release, Musculoskeletal Ultrasound injections, Diagnostic musculoskeletal Ultrasound, Platelet rich plasma (PRP) injection, Mesenchymal Stem Cells injections, Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA) and Concussion management.

Dr. Gonzalez’s residency was undertaken at Orlando Health Regional Hospital

As part of his Sports Medicine career, Dr. Gonzalez has helped as a team physician for the Cincinnati Reds AA baseball team, Tampa Bay Rays, University of West Florida, Auburn University, and local High Schools. He has also served as a consultant for many MLB, NFL, NBA teams, and other professional athletes.

With a special interest in Regenerative Medicine and Orthobiologics, he has been utilizing the most cutting-edge modalities in Orthopedics to help patients heal faster.
