Dr. Dattel attended the University of Kansas School of Medicine where he graduated with honors in the top 10% of his class. He completed his residency at Children's Mercy Hospital in 1995. Dr. Dattel was recently nomiated in 2007 for Best Pediatrician by readers of KC Family Magazine. He has been featured on all three major news networks discussing a broad range of health related topics which affect children. He has a strong interest in allergic disorders and asthma. Dr. Dattel is happily married and is the proud father of three children.
