Frequently Asked Questions

Every doctor is vetted and credentialed before joining UBERDOC. Doctors must be board certified and have an active medical license in the state they are providing services. Exceptions are made for Psychologists, Dentists and Optometrists as these specialties do not require board certifications.

Doctors choose their appointment fee based on specialty and geography. The average cost is $250. You pay $50 when your appointment is confirmed, and the remaining after the completion of the visit.

Included in your UBERDOC appointment is an initial consultation. Any subsequent care or treatment can be through insurance.

If you choose a doctor who is a Medicare provider, you may need to only pay $50 for you UBERDOC appointment. Please discuss with your doctor directly to see if you are eligible.

UBERDOC works outside insurance. Your UBERDOC appointment can be paid for with your HSA, FSA or major credit card. If the doctor is in your insurance network, any subsequent consults, lab tests, procedures and follow-up appointments can be paid for by insurance.

Dr. Eldad Einav is a cum laude graduate from the Hebrew University/Hadassah Medical School in Jerusalem, Israel. He received his post-graduate training in Cardiovascular disease at New York University School of Medicine and Internal Medicine at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He is board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease, a Diplomate with ABOM and a fellow of the American college of cardiology. He is the founder and medical director of myW8 , a center dedicated for weight management and cardiovascular wellness in Beverly Hills, CA . Dr. Einav is a clinical assistant professor of medicine at SUNY Upstate Medical University and is currently serves as the head of Cardiometabolic Health at Lourdes Asscention in Binghamton, New York. Focused on preventive cardiology and cardiometabolic health Dr. Einav has years of experience treating obesity in high-risk patients with multiple cardiovascular disease and risk factors. Over the past several years, Dr. Einav has been an active participant at Obesity Medical Association events, conferences and forums, contributing articles and answering questions pertaining to cardiovascular related disease in obesity and cardiac safety of obesity medications. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Einav has authored various peer- reviewed publications and won multiple awards for excellence in research.
