About Dvora Efrat, PhD
Dr. Dvora Efrat, is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and Psychoanalyst who has been working in her private practice with adults, couples and children for over 16 years.
Dr. Efrat received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the City University of New York’s Graduate School & University Center. As a staff psychologist at North Central Bronx hospital she supervised psychologists in training on their internship and graduate students on their externship.
Dr. Efrat is also a Psychosomatic Psychoanalysts. This specialty is geared toward working with patients who are suffering from medical illnesses.
Dr. Efrat has an extensive experience treating a wide range of psychological issues, including those pertaining to Infertility, Parenting, Depression, Anxiety, Life Transitions, Work Stress, Illness, etc.
Dr. Efrat has been privileged to work with diverse populations from various cultural backgrounds. She is fluent in French, Hebrew, and English.
