Dr. Gamburg is the Director of Injection Therapy and Pain Management at Pain Management Associates.
He received his undergraduate degree from Clark University and his medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine. He completed his training at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC in 1998.
Dr. Gamburg is board-certified in Interventional Pain Management, and is a fellowship-trained anesthesiologist and Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management.
His practice focuses on treating patients with arm, leg and spine pain caused from herniated and bulging discs, facet arthrosis, arthritis and spinal stenosis.
During the past eight years he has been in the forefront of teaching and developing minimally invasive technologies for the treatment of back pain.
Dr. Gamburg was one of the first physicians in the country to perform percutaneous disc removal using coblation energy. He also performs facet nerve and sacroiliac radiofrequency using unipolar and bipolar techniques along with all fluoroscopic guided injection procedures.
In his practice he performs over 3,000 procedures a year with significant improvement in greater than 80% of his patients. Most procedures are between 30 and 60 minutes in length and patients are usually able to return to normal activity the following day.
