About Daniel Pierre, MD
Dr. Pierre is a rare find for the Cleveland Eye Clinic and patients alike. Patients find in this doctor that ideal combination of technical expertise and ability to personally relate. His goal is to be worthy of the trust patients put in him to care for their eyes, and to be the kind of doctor that he himself would want to go see. As a comprehensive ophthalmologist and formally trained pediatric ophthalmologist, he brings to this practice both expert care for cataracts, glaucoma, and eyelid problems for adults, as well as a focus on the unique range of children’s eye conditions, especially eye misalignment and the poor vision of lazy eye. He has published articles and videos for a variety of medical journals and national meetings, and enjoys teaching.
In his spare time, he is a busy husband and father of three children whom he cherishes. He also is a dedicated teacher of both children’s and adults’ classes at his church in North Olmsted.
