Dr. Charles Shuman is board certified in general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. Dr. Shuman has worked in the past as medical director of multiple prior substance use treatment programs and as a faculty member of the University of Colorado. Dr. Shuman has published, instructed, and presented in areas of addiction psychiatry and general psychiatry. Dr. Shuman is a fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine and the prior president of the Colorado Society of Addiction Medicine. Dr. Shuman's practice philosophy is to treat clients from a holistic perspective with compassion, with the goal of returning clients to a life of health, productivity, and personal enrichment
