Dr. Carlos Rojas is a podiatric foot and ankle surgeon that specializes in traumatic and reconstructive surgery, sports medicine, corrective and cosmetic surgery of the lower extremity. Dr. Rojas is Board Qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine; he is an Associate member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He received his Podiatry Medicine and Surgery degree from Barry University; during medical school he was awarded with the annual Dean’s Scholarship and was nominated to the President’s list for scholastic excellence. During undergraduate school he received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Rojas successfully completed a three year surgical residency program at KRMC trauma center in Miami. Dr. Rojas has a special interest in complex traumatic and reconstructive surgery; he brings an unmatched approach to modern podiatry surgery. Dr. Rojas has participated in numerous specialized surgical training courses including international symposiums; he has also served as speaker in scientific meetings and radio talk shows. Dr. Rojas is currently an assistant clinical professor at The Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and Kendall Regional Trauma Center. Dr. Rojas lives in Miami with his wife and children.
