About Bernard Ashby, MD
Dr. Bernard Ashby is board certified in internal medicine, clinical cardiology, vascular medicine, vascular interpretation, and nuclear cardiology. Dr. Ashby is originally from South Florida. He attended medical school at Cornell University and attained his masters in health policy at Princeton University. He completed his internship and residency at Columbia University Medical Center, where he was also an assistant professor in the department of medicine. He completed his cardiology training at George Washington University Medical Center, where he was named chief fellow. Dr. Ashby also completed a postdoctoral clinical and research fellowship in vascular medicine at Johns Hopkins University. Most recently, he served as the director of vascular cardiology at Mount Sinai Medical Center prior to opening Comprehensive Vascular Care.
