Dr. Saviet grew up in Sutton, Massachusetts and attended Saint John’s High School. While at St. John’s, he developed his passion for athletics and running. He was awarded his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Providence College where he also was a member of their NCAA Division I cross country, indoor and outdoor track teams. Following Providence College, Ben received a Master of Science in Biology at UMass-Lowell while utilizing his remaining track eligibility, specializing in the 3000-meter Steeplechase. Dr. Saviet then earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in North Chicago, IL. He completed his reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Brighton, Massachusetts. Dr. Saviet is an active member of several podiatric organizations including the Massachusetts Podiatric Medical Society, the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, and the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine. He also participates in the training of podiatric surgery residents and students in the region.
