Dr. Rosado is Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine in Clinical and Interventional cardiology. He has been on staff at Mount Sinai Medical Center since 1996. His interests include the diagnosis and treatment of coronary artery disease, cardiomyopathies, heart failure, dyslipidemia, hypertensive heart disease, valvular disease and cardiac arrhythmias.
Dr. Rosado focuses on the use of evidence based medicine and the application of guideline directed medical therapies to decrease the incidence of adverse cardiovascular events. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI).
Dr. Rosado holds a Community-Based Faculty appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor within the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine (HWCOM) at Florida International University (FIU). He precepts medical school students during their cardiology clinical clerkship. His goal is to prepare each student to be outstanding physicians through the application of basic science knowledge to the daily practice of medicine.
