He completed his medical degree (M.D.) and Ph.D. at the University of Rochester under the prestigious Medical Scientist Training Program scholarship sponsored by the National Institutes of Health. During the next five years he completed a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic. Next, he obtained additional training in Hand Surgery and Shoulder Reconstructive Surgery at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, the historic Bellevue Hospital Center, and Mount Sinai Beth Israel. He is board certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). During his career Dr. Naik has presented research and spoken at international conferences including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the American Society for Surgery of the Hand. His goal is to bring cutting edge research to the bedside. Dr. Naik is currently affiliated with Northwell Lenox Hill Hospital, Lewis County General Hospital, and RWJ / St Barnabas Hospital. Dr. Naik will take the time to listen to you and answer your questions before during and after surgery. During his time off, Dr. Naik enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, reading, and exercising.
