HABLO ESPAÑOL ! My name is Alvaro Encinas, and it would be my pleasure to serve as your physician. I am a board certified physician in Family Medicine. I graduated from medical school in 2007 (Ross University). I completed my intern year at the University of Illinois, and my residency and chief resident year at the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Network of Affiliated Family Medicine Residencies, Somerset Family Medicine Residency Program in New Jersey. In addition, I completed a Family Medicine OB Fellowship in Memphis, TN. I treat a broad spectrum of diseases. Whether it is a cough or sinus infection, or a UTI, I can help! I can perform an evaluation, render a diagnosis, and together we can form a treatment plan. Also, I can treat certain chronic issues like Diabetes or Hypertension, but be prepared to have your Blood pressure monitor or current glucose reading as these objective findings are critical when deciding how to manage your condition. I see patients from “cradle to grave.” However, I am not going to make any promises. There are instances when you are best served with seeing a physician in person. However, you won’t know until you try, so please give me this opportunity to serve you.
I always tell patients that they have to be very careful when looking on the web for information related to your medical complaint or question. There is a lot of mis-information out there. My first recommendation is to write down your question and ask your Primary Care Physician (PCP). If you don’t have a PCP, or if you don’t know when you can see your PCP... then think of me, and set up an appointment. I am licensed in multiple states including California, Florida, Pennsylvania, New York, Illinois, and Texas. So if you reside in one of these states, I can treat you. If you do not reside in one of these states, I am sorry I cannot help, please choose another physician that is licensed in your state.
