Dr. Beck is a nationally known eye specialist in the field of Ophthalmology. He is board certified by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons as a diplomat in Ophthalmology. His focal areas of specialization are broad and wide such as Vitreo-Retinal Surgery, Blepharoplasty Surgery, Eye Ptosis Repair, Diabetic Retinopathy Treatments, Retinal Vein Occlusion Treatments, Retinal Detachment Surgery, and Ophthalmology Plastic Reconstructive Surgery. He is also an active member of organizations such as The American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. He graduated medical school from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, Magna Cum Laude, in Maywood, IL. He interned at Loyola University in the Department of General Surgery. He completed his Ophthalmology residency at the Northwestern University Department of Ophthalmology, Chicago, IL. His Fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal Surgical Disease was completed at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Boston, MA. Dr. Beck went on to complete additional training in Blepharoplasty Surgery under the instruction of Dr. Henry Baylus in Santa Monica, California. Dr. Beck then received his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from the Massachusetts School of Law at Andover. There he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
