About Adam Ball, MD
Dr. Adam J. Ball was born and raised in Boca Raton, Florida. He graduated from the University of Miami in December of 1994 with a B.S. in Microbiology/Immunology.
He elected to remain in Miami and subsequently received his medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine in May of 1999.\
Dr. Ball completed his surgical internship (2000) and his residency in urology and urologic surgery (2004) at Jackson Memorial Hospital and the University of Miami School of Medicine. He was co-Chief Resident during 2003-2004. The following year was spent in Norfolk, Virginia where Dr. Ball completed an elective one-year fellowship with Devine-Tidewater Urology and the Eastern Virginia School of Medicine, where he sub-specialized in minimally-invasive surgery, stone disease and laparoscopic and robotic urologic surgery. Dr. Ball was appointed Clinical Instructor at the Eastern Virginia School of Medicine during this year.
Being from Florida, Dr. Ball relocated to the Treasure Coast and established Gulfstream Urology Associates, PA. The practice is located in St. Lucie West and serves the urologic needs for patients living in Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin and Okeechobee counties. Dr. Ball is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is an active member of the American Urological Association (AUA), Southeastern Section of the AUA, and the Florida Urological Society, where he has served as its President in 2023. Past hospital leadership roles have included Chief of Surgery and member of the Medical Executive Committee. Finally, Dr. Ball provides urologic care for conditions, such as BPH, ED, prostate cancer, urinary incontinence, recurrent UTI, stone disease, infertility/vasectomy, and hormone replacement therapy.
