Frequently Asked Questions

Every doctor is vetted and credentialed before joining UBERDOC. Doctors must be board certified and have an active medical license in the state they are providing services. Exceptions are made for Psychologists, Dentists and Optometrists as these specialties do not require board certifications.

Doctors choose their appointment fee based on specialty and geography. The average cost is $250. You pay $50 when your appointment is confirmed, and the remaining after the completion of the visit.

Included in your UBERDOC appointment is an initial consultation. Any subsequent care or treatment can be through insurance.

If you choose a doctor who is a Medicare provider, you may need to only pay $50 for you UBERDOC appointment. Please discuss with your doctor directly to see if you are eligible.

UBERDOC works outside insurance. Your UBERDOC appointment can be paid for with your HSA, FSA or major credit card. If the doctor is in your insurance network, any subsequent consults, lab tests, procedures and follow-up appointments can be paid for by insurance.

For the past 30 years of practice in Central Florida I have become known as the only urologist in the area who uses holistic approaches with the right blend of traditional good scientific research to develop the best approach to your cure. We have created safe and effective guidelines for management of prostate cancer eliminating surgeries or radiation. We are a strong believer in proper dietary supplementation , meditation and exercise to improve the body’s ability to overcome most urological illnesses. We utilize genetics heavy to teach prevention of familial cancers and to better understand the pathophysiology to effect a better scientific approach for cure. Yes I am an excellent urological surgeon but my patients and time, with a listening ear has helped to hone my skills improve outcomes and minimize unnecessary surgical procedures. Unlike many doctors, I started my research career at age 15 at the University of Alabama in Birmingham working with some of the top scientists of the world, such as Dr Andre Blum,one of the fathers of Tagomet, and lived and work with him in Birmingham and Zurich, Switzerland. After living in Austria attending the University of Vienna, Austria, I joined the American Red Cross , Friendship África team to teach nursing, mother and child care creating the United States attempt to establish a national healthcare program in 1972. After obtaining a medical degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham in 1981, I completed my surgical training at Mount Sinai Medical Center NYC and my urological training was completed at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. I completed medical school and training on a full U S Navy scholarship which brought me to Naval Hospital Orlando to complete my active duty as required for my scholarship and left as a full Navy Commander. Throughout my career I was involved in helping to bring many drugs to market such as Tofanil for bedwetters, Hytin for BPH, and Lupron reformulation. Presently our patients come from all over the world to participate in medical decision making. All patients are able to enjoy our renowned Energy Enhancement System, largest in Central Florida while waiting to see me. With energy enhancement we all become energized and mentally focused.
