Dr. Abdirahim Rashid is an experienced internal medicine physician with a strong background in managing acutely ill patients in both hospital and outpatient settings. A 2015 graduate of Indiana University, Dr. Rashid completed an Internal Medicine residency at Washington University in St. Louis-Barnes Jewish Hospital in 2018. Since then, Dr. Dr. Rashid has worked at level 1 trauma centers as a Hospitalist managing acutely ill patients needing Inpatient care. He also worked at Urgent care center treating common ailments such as UTIs, bronchitis, cellulitis as well as doing DOT physicals. With expertise ranging from outpatient care to complex inpatient management, Dr. Rashid currently focusing on acute hospital medicine, obesity medicine, and general preventative care.
